Waiver & Release of Liability
PLEASE NOTE THAT KAYAK / PADDLE BOAT MAY ONLY BE USED WITHIN 10 METRES FROM THE WATER’S EDGE.

This waiver and release of liability needs to be completed and signed prior to renting the equipment with Rondeberg Resort.

1. Rentals are due back no later than 17h00 on the date of rental unless prior arrangement with management. I understand that due to unforeseen weather, I may be requested to return the kayak without delay. No refund.

2. I agree to return the equipment in the same condition I received it in. Any damages or loss will be for the account of the person renting the equipment (myself).

  • I further agree to pay in full for repair of damages, or loss of kayak and/or components. (Deposit will be deducted from amount due.)
  • Most damages occur during transportation.
  • Do not drag equipment over hard soil or rock.
  • Kayak to be unloaded before carrying.

3. Always lift kayak at either end and not in centre.

4. I hereby indemnify Rondeberg Resort from any damages or injuries that might be incurred during the rental of the equipment, as well as any claims from another party if applicable. Rondeberg Resort is in no way responsible for either my safety, or person accompanying me nor third party if applicable.

5. I take full responsibility for any accompanying minors and their safe return.

6. I am experienced in handling the equipment, and in assessing the weather and unpredictable environment in which I plan to use this equipment.

7. I am 18 years or older and legally competent to sign this agreement, and have informed myself of the contents of this agreement by reading it before signing.
